The Bell Schedule for 2025-2026 School Year for Parkersburg South High School has changed. Please see the images attached for those changes.

All three girls high school basketball teams in Wood County have earned the opportunity to play in the AA or AAAA state championship on Saturday, March 14! Come and join us to cheer on our student athletes!

Williamstown Yellowjackets play at 12:30 pm.

Important Update Regarding the End of the School Year: We are pleased to share that the West Virginia Department of Education has granted Wood County Schools a waiver for three instructional days. As a result of this approval, the last day of school for students will remain Tuesday, June 2, 2026 — no changes have been made to the previously published school calendar. No further action is needed on your part. Please make note of this date as you plan for summer childcare, activities, and travel. The Senior Big Picture will be Tuesday, 2/10, at 9am in the ROAC. All seniors are excused from Tech/Caperton/College classes for the picture. Please be on time.
