Tickets for the boys basketball quarterfinal game will go on sale at 10 am today in the athletic office. These boys will battle Wheeling Central in the first round of the tournament on Thursday at 9:00 pm. Let's pack the stands Williamstown! Go Jackets!!

We will be selling girls state tournament tickets tonight at the boys game. Adults are $10 and Students are $6.00. These are all general admission tickets and you will need cash to purchase.
Tickets for tonights boys game are all digital. You will need to pre-purchase from the GoFan app or use a credit/debit card at the gate. This procedure is set by the WVSSAC, not WHS.
Gates open tonight at 6:00.

Tomorrow afternoon we will have paper tickets for the girls state basketball tournament. The cost is $6.00 for students and $10.00 for adults. These are general admission tickets( behind baskets and upper level) and the cheapest you can get. We will have 100 adult tickets and 200 student tickets. Remember, if your child wants to ride the fan bus, high school students can sign up today and middle school students can sign up tomorrow. Cost is $20, which includes their ticket. Sack lunch will be provided for those students. If your student plans to attend the game without riding the fan bus, they need to stop by Mrs. Chadock's office and get their ticket before Thursday at 10:00 am.

Let's pack the gym on Wednesday as our boys take on St. Marys. Doors open @ 6:00. All tickets at the gate are pre-sale or credit/debit card (pre-sale gets you in the door much quicker). Per the WVSSAC there are no cash tickets at the gate. Please share this post.

We will have 1 student fan bus for the Girls Basketball State Tournament next Thursday March 7. The price of your game ticket plus bus transportation will be $20. You must pay when you sign up. Sign-up sheet is in the Athletic Office. Only 40 spots are available. High school students can reserve their spot beginning Monday at 8 am. Middle school students can reserve their spot beginning Tuesday at 8 am.
The bus will leave Thursday morning at 10:45 am and this bus will not return before the end of the school day. Estimated return time is 4:00. You cannot sign up for the fan bus if you do not have transportation home. Sports practices will not begin until AFTER the fan bus returns.
Students are not permitted to drive themselves or other students to the game. Students are only permitted to ride with a parent or guardian. If you are riding with the parent of another student, you must bring a note from your parents stating with whom you are riding, as well as a note from that parent stating that they are willing to transport you. If you attend the game and you are not riding the fan bus, you must bring back your ticket and or a parent note to be excused from school.
We will provide students a sack lunch if they wish. They can also choose to pack a lunch or purchase food inside the civic center. The bus will not stop for food.

Calendar update: In order to account for missed school days due to inclement weather, students will now attend school on May 31 as well as June 3 and 4. Preschool will attend May 28 and 29. For staff, June 5 will be a curriculum development day (students do not attend) and June 6 will be a day to prepare for the end of the school year (students do not attend).

Information about upcoming regional basketball:

3. Tickets will cost $7.00 + fees. (These tickets are sold by the WVSSAC, not WHS)
4. All post season games (Sectionals and Regionals) must start at 7:00.
5. Doors for post-season events will open at 6:00, not before.
6. The only passes you can use are WVSSAC passes. These are good for the holder and 1 guest only. Students are NOT free in the post season.
7. Please share this information with others. If you have older family members that cannot use a credit/debit card for purchase, please have them see Cathy at the school BEFORE 3:00 on Wednesday. If you have out of town family members, please share our live stream link.

Jacket Fans...We need you here on Friday night at 7:00 to cheer on our Lady Jackets. They will face Parkersburg Catholic in the Sectional Championship! As a reminder, students do not get in free for post season games and only WVSSAC passes will be accepted.

We do however have water coolers set up in the main hallway and downstairs. If you are able, please send your child to school with a refillable water bottle. Water fountains CANNOT be used until at least late afternoon on Wednesday.
