Wood BOE approves 2024-25 School Calendar
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education has approved a calendar for the 2024-25 school year.
Two calendar options have been on public comment for the past month. The board Tuesday unanimously approved Calendar Option 2, which provides a two-week winter break and high school graduation ceremonies on three separate days.
Highlights of the 2024-25 School Calendar
- First Day of School for students: 8-21-24
- Last Day of School: 6-3-25
- Thanksgiving/Fall Break: 11-25- 24 through 11-29-24
- Christmas/Winter Break for students: 12-20-24 through 1-3-25.
Graduation Dates
- Parkersburg South High School: 5-27-25
- Williamstown High School: 5-28-25
- Parkersburg High School: 5-29-25
