Wood BOE meets Tuesday at Caperton Center
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet Tuesday evening in regular session.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, at the Caperton Center for Applied Technology on the campus of West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
The meeting will begin with recognition of the 2024 Golden Horseshoe winners and West Virginia SkillsUSA winners. Officials also will announce the Wood County Schools Service Personnel of the Year.
The board also will receive updates on curriculum and the district’s Comprehensive Educational Facilities Plan (CEFP) and bond projects.
In addition to personnel and financial items, the board will consider appointing Jeremy Bell as Coordinator for Safety and Security and will discuss assistant superintendent contracts.
