NEW LOCATION! The Wood County Schools' Social Studies Fair on Saturday, February 19th, will now take place at Williamstown High School. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Judging is from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Public viewing begins at 5:00 p.m. Awards will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Based upon our internet access survey this past September, Wood County Schools has secured Wi-Fi hotspots for those who have a need and have no or unreliable internet. If you have a child who attends any Wood County Schools’ elementary school, you may pick up a Wi-Fi hotspot in the student parking lot at Parkersburg South High School. A map can be found on the Wood County Schools’ website. Pickup is available on Monday, February 21st, from eight to four. It is not necessary to call ahead.
The PHS Health and Wellness Center in the Annex will be closed until the power issues are resolved and school resumes. Please contact Coplin Health Systems if you have questions regarding your health care and appointments (304-917-3733).

Vaccines: Thurs: 1p-5p, Moderna and Pfizer series and boosters, 5 yrs and up;
Parent/ guardian must be present if under 18.
Wood BOE removes mask mandate
Good evening. The Wood County Board of Education has approved changes to Wood County Schools’ Covid-19 mitigation plan.
Beginning tomorrow (Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022), masks for students and staff will be optional at all schools.

Good morning. Our road crews this morning have reported that roads are unsafe for travel. With ice currently covering our roads and expected snow to begin around 7:00 a.m., Wood County Schools will be closed on Friday, February 4, 2022. 261-day employees will report on a two-hour delay.

Covid-19 Testing at the Lincoln facility will resume this Saturday and testing times have changed to 12pm- 4pm. Pull up near green door 1 in your car and someone will come to your car with registration paperwork.
