Good morning, Remember a new semester starts tomorrow. If you have a semester course, you will start in your new class on Monday. It is a great chance for a fresh start. The tardy count also resets. The fifth tardy will result in an hour of afterschool detention. Attendance is important. Remember to turn in parent notes and medical excuses to the Admin office or use the link previously shared. Reach out to Mrs. Ray with attendance questions. Let's Go Big Reds!

Correction: The January 13 edition of the *Parkersburg News & Sentinel* incorrectly stated that Wood County Schools would be adding an additional 30 minutes to the school day in relation to "equivalency time" for days missed due to inclement weather. In fact, Wood County Schools already incorporates 30 extra minutes into its regular school day, which can be used to account for missed instructional time. To be clear, Wood County Schools will not be adding 30 minutes to the end of any school day.
